About Me

Hi, I’m Abbi — the person behind Lighter Load Marketing.

My story with small businesses started long before marketing entered the picture. I grew up working at my family’s business, Airway Hills Golf Center, doing a little bit of everything—from working the front desk to helping with events and eventually stepping into the role of managing our marketing.

Being on the inside of a small business taught me something you don’t learn in a classroom: business owners wear a lot of hats. As marketing and social media became more complex, I saw how quickly that responsibility could turn into a full-time job on top of everything else.

That experience inspired me to pursue my degree in marketing and advertising and eventually create Lighter Load Marketing.

Today, I specialize in helping small businesses show up on social media in a way that feels authentic, thoughtful, while still being highly strategic – and making you feel more free to focus on the areas of your business you actually like!

From shaping strategy to creating content, I work closely with my clients to make sure their business’s heart and goals stay at the center of everything we share.

At the end of the day, I believe the best marketing simply tells your story well—and I’d love to help you tell yours.
